Noctua @ Computex 2009

Today we have a treat for the Noctua supporters out there. Some exclusive content from Computex 2009.

Computex in Taipei is one of the most presitgious events along with CeBIT. Each year the major players in the world of technology and computing attend this event to showcase their latest products. Today we have some content on Noctua’s booth.

Noctua are one of the leading cooling solution brands on the market and a favourite here at Vortez Hardware. So its a pleasure and interest to feature this article on our website.

The Noctua booth at Computex was very elegant and professionally put together. Some of the forthcoming products from Noctua are positioned at the front of the booth, we will be taking a good look at these products in this article. Some of the products include: NF-P14 PWM 140mm Fan, SecuFirm2™ Intel and AMD mounting kits, NH-U12DX 1366, NH-C12P SE14 CPU Cooler and NH-D14 CPU Cooler.

NH-C12P SE14 CPU Cooler

One of the first products we are going to look at is the C12P with 140mm fan – NF-P14. This new fan is bigger, has more fins and will surely increase cooling performance. It also comes with PWM control and will be able on the LGA1366 platform as well as the LGA1156 (said to be released Q3).

NH-D14 CPU Cooler

Next up, the D14 CPU Cooler. This cooler you will agree is a mamoth of a unit. It hosts 6 dual radiator heatpipe design and two fans. The NF-P14 and NF-P12 fan. It will be shipped with the award winning NT-N1 thermal paste along with the SecuFirm2 mounting kit.

This cooler is available for the following platforms: 1366, 1156, 775 and AM2/AM2+/AM3.

NF-P14 PWM 140mm Fan

The next thing we are going to check out is the new NF-P14 PWM 140mm fan, the fan we saw on the previous page. Following on from the P12, the P14 has the Vortex-Control notches. Most of you will be wondering whether this will fit inside your case or on a heatsink. The P14 has 120mm mounting holes so you needn’t worry. If you have the space this will work! As you can tell from the title this fan comes with PWM control along with the ultra low noise adaptors.
