With the advent of the Nintendo Wii music based games like Guitar Hero are proving very popular and not just for sales within the games industry but also the entertainment and music industry. There have been an increase in online music sales as a direct result of games such as Guitar Hero.
With a thriving market already in place Logitech have seen this as a great opportunity and are planning on teaming up with Activision to produce “Premium instrument controllers”. The World Tour game is set to be released in the last quarter of 2008 appearing on most of the consoles – Xbox 360, Wii, PS3 etc. There are no specification details of the items that will be released but with Logitech having a good standing in the peripherals market we can expect good things from them.
