SilverStone know just how important a good fan is to a typical PC, both in terms of overall cooling capacity by shifting hot air, and the amount of noise it produces in doing just that. In February they released the FQ121, a brand new 120mm fan which incorporated anti-vibration rubber fan mounts and a new blade design for low noise operation. It was of course aided by a PWM design for flexible RPM adjustment as well as a Fluid Dynamic Bearing for long-life operation.
Now, SilverStone have a far broader fan range to meet a wider variety of needs. Not only are the FQ fan designs available in more sizes – 80, 92 and 140mm in addition to the original 120mm – the FW range brings higher performance (i.e. higher CFM) to the 80-120mm fan sizes.

FW-Series Fans
FW Series offers high quality fans designed for optimal acoustic performance at affordable price. Powered via PWM 4pin connector, the FW Series fans’ speed can be adjusted by supported motherboard or fan controllers to be used for silent running builds or for cooling a high performance machine.
Furthermore the FW-Series includes the slimline FW121, which at 15mm-thick could be suitable for especially cramped conditions.
