Yesterday’s Game Ready GPU drivers from NVIDIA, designed for optimum performance with The Division as well as unlocking the Vulkan API on GeForce GPUs, unfortunately introduced a major bug that causes instability on a limited number of system configurations. Thankfully the green team have just released a Beta Driver to address these issues. The driver is available through the NVIDIA Website as the GeForce 364.51 Beta, or alternatively through the GeForce Experience desktop app. The previous release, 364.47, is no longer present in the download list. NVIDIA’s documentation for the new driver is not currently available due to its beta status.
The GeForce 364.51 Beta has been submitted to Microsoft for WHQL approval, and the certified driver package will be updated when they have conformation through. Thanks to Sean Pelletier, Senior Product Manager at GeForce Game Ready Drivers, for this update.
