The upcoming GIGABYTE X399 motherboard shows up and pictured – the X399 Designare EX TR4 motherboard for the AMD HEDT Ryzen Threadripper processor series. The X399 Designare EX will be the flagship X399 model of the brand which packs more features than the X399 AORUS Gaming 7 motherboard. Just like the Designare boards in other platforms, this also sports a silver colour theme along with premium features like a sturdy back plate. It also features Thunderbolt 3 AIC support, Intel Wireless and dual Intel NICs along with other next-gen features.
The GIGABYTE X399 Designare EX has a similar PCB layout with the X399 AORUS Gaming 7 but having more features. But unlike the AORUS Gaming 7, the X399 Designare EX doesn’t seem to be peppered with RGB LED lighting and limit it to certain locations like the PCH heat sink giving it a different aesthetics which is more subtle with lighting.
