Alphacool introduces the new Eisschicht Ultra Soft Thermal Pads, available in 100x100x1mm and 100x100x0.5mm pads. The Alphacool Eisschicht Ultra Soft Thermal Pads are comparable to high-performance thermal pastes with its ultra-soft characteristics allowing it to cling much better with components at a more even contact pressure thus delivering superb heat transfer. The ultra-soft consistency of the Alphacool Eisschicht makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications such as on motherboard heatsinks, graphics cards, CPU coolers, and others.
The Alphacool Eisschicht thermal pads also offer a long service life as it doesn’t dry out unlike silicone in traditional thermal pads. The Alphacool Eisschicht ultra-soft thermal pads uses a special fabric that remains stable and consistent in heat conduction, behaving like a thermal paste. The Alphacool Eisschicht also works on uneven spaces and can be easily cut to smaller sizes using a pair of scissors. The Alphacool Eisschicht thermal pads are currently in use on all new Alphacool Aurora graphics card water blocks.
