ASUS has unveiled the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT Onimusha Special Edition, a limited-edition graphics card created in collaboration with AMD and CAPCOM to celebrate Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Based on the Radeon RX 9070 XT, the card combines AMD’s RDNA 4 architecture with a custom blue-and-gold design inspired by the game’s samurai setting and Oni Gauntlet.
The special edition also comes bundled with the standard edition of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, giving fans of the series a graphics card designed to complement the upcoming game. Alongside its themed exterior, the card retains the TUF Gaming series’ focus on cooling, durability and long-term reliability.
Onimusha-Inspired Design
The TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT Onimusha Special Edition graphics card features a custom shroud and backplate inspired by the dark samurai fantasy of Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Its blue-and-gold colour scheme incorporates game-inspired details based on the Oni Gauntlet, giving the card a distinctive appearance aimed at collectors and Onimusha fans.

Advanced Cooling and Durability
ASUS equips the card with three Axial-tech fans, with the two outer fans rotating in the opposite direction to reduce turbulence and improve airflow dispersion. The fans stop completely when GPU temperatures are below 55°C and restart above 60°C for quieter operation during lighter workloads.
The cooling system combines the fans with a phase-change GPU thermal pad and ASUS MaxContact technology. The latter increases the heat spreader’s surface area by 5%, while the vented die-cast metal exoskeleton and aluminium backplate provide additional airflow and structural support.
For durability, the card uses military-grade TUF chokes and MOSFETs alongside TUF 5K black metallic capacitors. ASUS also uses dual-ball fan bearings rated for up to 80,000 hours, a protective conformal PCB coating and GPU Guard with a support bracket. The card is manufactured using ASUS Auto-Extreme technology.
Software and Game Bundle
ASUS GPU Tweak III provides monitoring, tuning and overclocking controls, including a voltage-frequency tuner, customisable on-screen display, logging and automatic profile switching. Aura Sync is also supported for synchronised lighting effects.
The ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT Onimusha Special Edition includes the standard edition of Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Buyers can redeem the bundled game code through ASUS and activate it on Steam.
