It has been proven many times that Solid State Drives(SSDs) beat conventional, mechanical Hard Disk Drives(HDDs), making them ideal as an operating system and/or games drive. However, one of the main concerns regarding this fairly new technology is whether the price is a worthwhile investment or a gamble. Part of this consideration can be based on the warranty period that accompanies SSDs and so it comes as great news to hear that Corsair have decided to extend the warranty on all of their SSDs.
This change comes days after the announcement of Corsair’s new "Force" series and takes the warranty period from 2 years to 3.
