Street Price: GBP £149.99 / USD $195.98 / EUR €169.99
In something a little different, today we look at something which, admittedly, will be relatively niche, but hopefully interesting to most of our readers; the DimasTech Easy V3.0 Testbench.
DimasTech have been putting together specific cooling solutions for the market for a few years now, which should mean they know a thing or two about the individual requirements of such products.
The Easy V3.0 offers support for a wide range of components, including watercooling set ups with space for a pair of 360mm or 280mm radiators, multiple pump layouts and tube sizes. We also see space for multiple 3.5” HDDs and 5.25” disk drives, full size PSUs and FullATX motherboards all the way through to MiniITX.
Available in a range of colours, you’re able to match this to almost any colour scheme, whether that’s your company or just a personal preference. Colours available are Aurora Blue, Graphite Black, Metallic Grey, Milk White, Sahara Yellow and Spicy Red, the last of which we’ll be reviewing today.
Users who swap out components regularly, or prefer the open aesthetics of a testbench style case will likely find themselves with something of this kind, but what sets the DimasTech V3.0 apart from the competition? Let’s find out.
DimasTech on the Easy V3.0:

Barebones & Accessories
Opening up the chassis, located in a piece of moulded polystyrene is a selection of extras and accessories. We get the fan mount, a pair of switches for powering on and resetting the system as well as wiring loops for each, an 8-slot PCI-E bracket and a mount for guiding watercooling tubing. There’s also a small white tub which is full of an assortment of nuts, bolts, standoffs and rubber bushes.
As far as any kind of instruction manual goes, they’ve provided the absolute bare minimum. The instructions were completely worthless and didn’t really explain anything, relying on the user having a knowledge of building such a chassis or just using trial and error to find their way.
We opted to go for the Spicy Red option, purely because it was the brightest option and we love a black and red gaming theme.
The upper plating is pre-drilled and tapped with screw mounts, accommodating all common motherboard layouts, ranging from FullATX to MiniITX. There’s several cut outs for cable routing, with the PSU residing below the motherboard, with two around the CPU power, three along the motherboard power area and two towards the bottom where GPU power would protrude from.
Looking at the tectbench from the front, the Easy V3.0 branding is laser cut from the steel on one side, with a DimasTech sticker placed on the opposite end. Between those two are the power switch holes on the left and a USB/audio slot on the right, though it needs to be said that the audio/USB ports are an additional purchase and weren’t included with our review sample.
The black pieces underneath are designed to house 4x 3.5” HDDs on the left and 3x 5.25” CD/DVD drives on the right. While this offers plenty of space for storage, with the usage of SSDs becoming more and more commonplace, especially for an OS drive, the lack of any mounting points for 2.5” drives are a large oversight.
Looking at the Easy V3.0 from the opposite end, the PSU mount is vertical, ensuring the PSU fan is able to draw in plenty of air to prevent overheating of a critical component. The PSU bracket can also be moved to be closer to the camera, using the pre-drilled mounting holes at the bottom.
Each side of the testbench is capable of housing up to a 360mm or 280mm watercooling radiator, or even just being populated with fans to increase airflow to the PSU if you really wish.
Building The System
Installing all of the components, as you might expect, is a breeze. There’s very little to hinder you while installing any components. The only problem we encountered was the lack of a 2.5” drive mount, so we utilised a 2.5” to 3.5” adaptor instead.Install the standoffs into the top of the chassis, attach the rubber feet to the bottom and mount your motherboard. Locate the PCI-E bracket, line it up with your GPU and tighten the bolts. It’s as simple as that really; some instructions still would’ve been nice though.
We mounted our Corsair RM750x PSU, along with Corsair braided cable mods in matching black and red theme, ensured all cables were routed into their relevant locations then placed the motherboard on top.
We also had an Arctic Cooling BioniX P120 cooling fan kicking about which happened to match the colour scheme perfectly, so we mounted that atop the semi-rigid arm to use as airflow over the RAM and VRMs while performing motherboard/CPU/RAM testing.
We then mounted our Corsair H150i Pro RGB watercooling loop to the side of the chassis and routed the pump out the side and onto the motherboard. Previously, this was mounted above the motherboard on a home-made rig so having it mounted securely improves things for us immensely.
A small issue we encountered here, where DimasTech could perhaps implement a fix, was in routing the fan connections. We didn’t want to have all three cables protruding from above the fans and going back inside the chassis, and it wasn’t possible due to the watercooling tube lengths, to mount the fans inside with the radiator outside. Therefore, we took it upon ourselves to perform a small modification.
All things attached, the system looks fantastic thanks to the striking Spicy Red paintwork and the beautifully matched Corsair braided PSU cables and coordinated Vengeance DDR4 RAM.
Conclusion
If you’re deep into overclocking, regularly changing components, testing machines or just plain enjoy the style, the Easy V3.0 offers plenty of versatility and options which have been developed by years of experience. The range of colours available is excellent, giving red, blue and yellow as the stand-out options and black, grey and silver as the more understated choices.
Offering support for 360mm or 280mm radiators on each end, full size PSUs, plenty of 3.5” and 5.25” drives and any size motherboard you can throw at it, the Easy V3.0 will please those who aim to use it in any capacity and should make testing/changing components a breeze thanks to its open design.
The 1.5mm steel gives the entire chassis plenty of rigidity while all the cut outs for cable management ensure you’re not fumbling about routing cables in wacky and wonderful directions, requiring lengthier cables while resulting in an uglier appearance.
The only problem we have with the Easy V3.0 Testbench is the price, but when it boils down to it, when you produce something of quality, you either need to sell a lot of them or sell them at a higher price; with a product such as this, we can’t imagine DimasTech are selling thousands of them so ultimately the asking price will be higher. However, to counter that, in a professional environment such as a PC workshop, testing RMAs or components for any reason, the time to remove and swap out parts multiple times per day may well see that cost recouped very quickly.
As testbenches go, the DimasTech V3.0 offers good versatility, is very strong thanks to the 1.5mm steel, looks awesome due to the Spicy Red paintwork and features excellent cable management but the price will sting at first.
Pros
+ The Spicy Red looks amazing
+ Excellent cable management
+ Great build quality
Cons
– A slot for radiator fan connections would be nice
– Pricey for a few pieces of steel
– No USB or audio connections as standard
