Nvidia have officially announced the GTS250. Custom PC have a news item on this below.
"Going by recent news you might think Nvidia is entirely occupied with thinking up new insults for Intel. This isn’t the case however, as today the green team has officially announced the new GeForce GTS 250, a mid-range card which it hopes will sway gamers away from ATI’s Radeon HD 4850. The GPU will be based on the 55nm G92 core, and will clocked at 738MHz with the stream processors running at 1,836MHz. Although we say ‘new’, that’s a term that’s up for debate with the GeForce GTS 250, as it’s almost identical to the GeForce 9800 GTX+. The GTS 250 uses exactly the same GPU running at precisely the same clock speeds."
