MONTECH has taken a slightly different route with the TG3, creating a mid-tower chassis that puts the focus firmly on presentation without turning the whole thing into an exercise in excessive RGB and tempered glass. The MONTECH TG3 combines a clean, contemporary exterior with a distinctive stepped interior, giving the system inside a little more visual depth and providing additional space for displaying components or decorative pieces. Large tempered-glass panels naturally make the hardware the star of the show, while the ARGB illumination integrated into the PSU shroud adds some colour when required. It is a design that should appeal to those wanting a showcase build, but without the case itself demanding more attention than the hardware.
Underneath the aesthetics, the TG3 has a fairly comprehensive specification. It supports ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, including reverse-connector designs such as GIGABYTE Project STEALTH, ASUS BTF and MSI Project Zero. Graphics cards up to 430mm can be installed, while CPU coolers up to 180mm are supported, and MONTECH provides four fans as standard, including the GF360 U REV side-mounted intake and GF120 U rear exhaust. The single-frame construction of the GF360 U REV helps keep cabling under control, while the chassis can accommodate up to nine fans in total and radiators up to 360mm at the top.
The TG3 also brings a sensible collection of practical features, including two USB 3.0 ports, USB Type-C, a headset connection, power and dedicated lighting controls on the front I/O. Removable dust filters are fitted at the top and bottom, while the seven-slot PCIe layout and support for power supplies up to 250mm provide plenty of flexibility for a modern performance system. Storage support is more modest, with room for one 3.5-inch drive and two 2.5-inch drives, although this should be more than adequate for many current builds. Thermal Performance Testing
Inside TG3 there are four cooling fans – 1x 120mm rear exhaust, and 3x 120mm side mounted fans.
To discover the thermal performance of TG3 we will record idle temperatures after 20 minutes from a cold boot. We will then stress the system and temperatures will again be monitored after 30 minutes have elapsed.
For the purpose of accurate analysis, the idle and load temperatures for CPU will be recorded and the range between idle and load will be calculated to determine how efficient cooling is.
NOTE: Ambient temperature is 20C

Conclusion
The MONTECH TG3 has turned out to be a rather impressive proposition, particularly when its $60 USD asking price is taken into consideration. Its wrap-around design gives the chassis a distinctive appearance without becoming overly extravagant, while the extensive use of glass makes it well suited to showcase-oriented builds. More importantly, the design is not purely cosmetic. Support for reverse-connector motherboards adds another layer of flexibility, and the overall internal arrangement makes the TG3 surprisingly straightforward to work with. It is a case that looks good on the desk, but does not sacrifice usability in pursuit of that aesthetic.
Ease of installation is another area where the TG3 performs particularly well. The tool-free panels can be removed from all sides of the chassis, providing excellent access to the interior and making component installation considerably less frustrating. Cable management is also well considered, with plenty of room and routing options available behind the motherboard tray. MONTECH has clearly designed the TG3 with the person actually building the system in mind, rather than simply creating something that looks impressive in product photography. The support for up to nine cooling fans, along with provision for a 360mm radiator at the top, also gives builders considerable freedom when configuring airflow.
Cooling is especially impressive given the price. Four fans are included as standard, with the unibody GF 360 REV combining three 120mm fans into a single frame for a cleaner installation and significantly less cable clutter. Combined with the rear exhaust fan, this gives the TG3 a capable airflow configuration straight out of the box, while additional fan mounting positions allow the setup to be expanded if required. The lack of a dedicated GPU support arm is unfortunate, particularly for larger and heavier graphics cards, and storage provision is relatively limited. These are worthwhile considerations, but neither feels particularly damaging given the overall specification.
The value proposition is where the TG3 really becomes difficult to ignore. At just $60 USD, MONTECH has managed to deliver a feature set that compares favourably with considerably more expensive alternatives. It is particularly notable when placed alongside the recently reviewed CORSAIR 2800X RS-R, which costs around $30 more, yet the TG3 actually provides more in several key areas. It includes a rear exhaust fan, offers an additional USB port and supports full-size ATX motherboards, giving it a broader specification despite its lower asking price. That is a fairly compelling comparison for anyone shopping at this end of the market.
There are a couple of smaller caveats, with the limited storage capacity being one of the more obvious compromises, while the white version we tested has a subtle blue tint that can stand out against other white components. Nevertheless, these are relatively minor blemishes on what is otherwise an exceptionally well-rounded chassis.
The combination of its unique wrap-around design, reverse-connector support, excellent accessibility, comprehensive cooling options and strong cable management makes the TG3 far more capable than its $60 price tag would suggest. MONTECH has delivered an excellent-value chassis here, and at this price, the TG3 is very difficult to overlook.
