Seasonic is expanding its FOCUS Series power supply lineup with the addition of the new FOCUS GX ATX 3.1 v5 and FOCUS GX White ATX 3.1 v5. Following the recent introduction of the FOCUS PX ATX 3.1 v5, these two new GX variants further expand the v5 family while retaining the compact 140mm chassis, ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compatibility of the previous generation. The new models also introduce refinements to Seasonic’s OptiSink thermal architecture and OptiSilent fan control, while achieving Cybenetics Platinum efficiency certification alongside their 80 PLUS Gold rating.
The new FOCUS GX v5 variants combine fully modular cabling, native 12V-2×6 GPU connectivity and Seasonic’s focus on long-term reliability with improved thermal and acoustic performance. The dual-colour 12V-2×6 connector, previously available on higher-end Seasonic models, is now added to these FOCUS GX variants to make proper cable connection easier to identify. Both the FOCUS GX ATX 3.1 v5 and FOCUS GX White ATX 3.1 v5 are available in 750W, 850W and 1000W capacities, providing users with additional options within Seasonic’s latest FOCUS platform.

The FOCUS GX ATX 3.1 v5 and FOCUS GX White ATX 3.1 v5 series is available in 750W, 850W and 1000W capacities. The range uses a fully modular design and a 135mm fluid dynamic bearing fan within a compact 140mm chassis. The v5 revision introduces an updated internal architecture based on OptiSink and OptiSilent, improving thermal management, airflow and acoustic performance.

Compared with the previous FOCUS GX ATX 3.1 generation, the FOCUS GX ATX 3.1 v5 models offer improved certification results. The previous 1000W model was rated Cybenetics Gold for efficiency, while the 850W and 750W models achieved Platinum. The new v5 models are rated Platinum across the range. Noise certification also improves from A- on the previous generation to A for the 1000W and 850W models and A+ for the 750W model.
