Thermal Grizzly launches the der8enchtable, an advanced benchtable with an active PCB and and additional features such as multiple fan controllers, USB ports, and SATA and microSD storage ports. Developed in collaboration with Jon “elmor” Sandström (ElmorLabs) and Roman “der8auer” Hartung, the der8enchtable offers a host of features designed to simplify hardware testing.
Key Features
• 3+1 control zones for fans and AIOs
• SSD, USB, or microSD slot for the OS and test programs
• Compact, modular, and user-friendly frame design
• Compatibility with both air and AIO coolers
• A-RGB lighting
At the heart of the der8enchtable is the base unit featuring an integrated PCB mounted on a black-anodized aluminium frame. Alternatively, you can omit the frame—which also includes radiator and PSU mounting brackets—and set the PCB up on short stand-offs. In addition to numerous USB ports and two SATA slots for SSDs, drivers, BIOS versions, or operating systems needed for testing and benchmarking hardware can be loaded via MicroSD cards.
A total of three fan controllers (Fan Zones), each with three 4-pin fan headers, enable hardware testing under consistent cooling conditions. Each Fan Zone can be individually switched to either 50% or 100% fan speed. Every zone delivers 3A of power to the fans and is protected by its own fuse. You can also let the motherboard control the der8enchtable’s fan zones externally via a 4-pin header on the PCB, which connects to a matching fan header on your motherboard.
Beyond the fan control zones, the base unit’s PCB offers an additional control zone with two 4-pin headers for pumps or fans, providing the same control options as the Fan Zones. The Pump Zone supplies 3A per header — 6A total—and each header is individually fused. To control addressable RGB lighting (aRGB), you can connect the der8enchtable to your motherboard via a 3-pin header, or use an external RGB controller (not included).
Pricing and Availability
The der8enchtable is now available at the Thermal Grizzly webshop for $268.98.
