Thermaltake show us 2 new cases and a new CPU cooler overclocking to 4.5GHz with ease!
Thermaltake dominated CeBIT 2011 with their huge booth and gaming contests. Their booth was significantly bigger than last years in terms of size and product showcase. Apart from their existing product range there were some products that were either due to be released or to debut at the show.
Level 10 GT
Following on from the original Level 10 we have the Level 10 GT. The smaller brother to the original Level 10, this case will be much more affordable than the Level 10 which launched last year. The Level 10 GT is going to sit between £200-250 and will deliver similar features to its bigger brother.

– USB 3.0 functionality
– Support for graphics card length of up to 14″
– Advanced cable management
– Locking system – S.S.S (Smart-lock Security System)
– Water-cooling support
– Headset hook
The Level 10 GT will be available to buy very soon. March – April 2011.
Chaser MK-1
Thermaltake were displaying a new series to their chassis lineup with the Chaser MK-1. In terms of features it does appear to have plenty to talk about. To check out the full list of features check this news story out. The most significant things that will stand out are:
– 180mm depth allowing bigger CPU coolers to fit within the chassis.
– USB 3.0
– Hot swap for 3.5″ and 2.5″ HDDs
– Water-cooling ready (will house radiators of different sizes)
– Fan speed adjustment
– Fan colour adjustment (8 colours)
Expected price for the Chaser MK-1 is £80-90 and availability is April 2011.
Frio OCK
Just last month Thermaltake announced their latest CPU cooler the Frio OCK, an extension of the popular Frio CPU cooler. The Frio OCK comes with 6 heatpipes that effectively transport heat from the base into two separate cooling towers. By adopting this dual-tower design the gap between both towers increases airflow and ventilation created by the dual fans. The OCK supports all major sockets and heat dissipation capacity of 240W. Thermaltake had the Frio OCK configured on an Intel Core i7 980X overclocked to 4.5GHz stable, showing an impressive 35% overclock is achievable. This is certainly a cooler to keep an eye on and we will have this in our test lab very soon.
The Frio OCK will have an expected price of around £50 and will be available very soon.
