CeBIT 2012 – Patriot Memory 2012 Product Line Up

Patriot display their coming NAND flash based product lineup for 2012, including SD cards, USB devices and solid state drives.


Patriot are keen to show off their versatile products that cater for all flash memory and storage needs. They offer a range of SSDs on the latest controllers from various manufacturers, including Marvell, SandForce and Phison. The pinnacle of Patriot SSDs comes in with the Wildfire PRO, with capacities of 100 and 200GB, backed by a 5 year warranty, the Wildfire PRO is designed to meet the performance and reliability expections of the highest standard. Based on the SandForce 2281 Controller which enables the Wildfire PRO to attain sequential read and write speeds up to 550MB/s and 500MB/s via SATA III connection, it also boasts Duraclass and Durawrite wear levelling technologies.

Aside from the SSD action we took a look at their range of USB pen drives. Patriot offer convenient USB 2.0 drives, ranging from a cheap and cheerful 2GB to a spacious and reliable 32GB. Of course, Patriot also were keen to show off their Supersonic family of blazing fast USB 3.0 pen drives, most notably, the rugged Supersonic Boost XT with read and write speeds of up to 100MB/s and 70MB/s and the top end Supersonic Magnum, which comes in 64GB and 128GB flavours with read/write speeds of 200MB/s and 120MB/s consecutively.
