Due to popular demand Utopia are now shipping to a dozen European states, with North America coming soon…
In an announcement today Scottish performance PC system builders Utopia Computers revealed that they were now catering to international customers. Thanks in no small part to the volume of positive feedback and enquiries they’ve received over recent months, twelve European nations – including France, Germany and Spain – will be added as shipping destinations for their range of custom built PCs. Furthermore, plans are in the works to bring the United States, Canada and Australia into the mix. The status quo will otherwise remain the same: systems will still be built and tested on their Kilmarnock premises and deliveries will be fulfilled by DPD, one of the logistics backbones for the UK PC retail industry.
It’s no surprise that Utopia’s profile is rising, and it’s no fluke. In the past their systems have been featured on Channel 5’s The Gadget Show in the UK, whilst more recently the technology press had got stuck into reviewing a broader range. In less than a year Vortez alone have had the pleasure of examining four systems, all of which garnered a least a Silver Award. The two most recent, Utopia’s ‘GTX TITAN Edition’ Pandora Mini-ITX package and Prodigy 15 performance laptop, both blew us away and earned Gold Awards for performance, build quality and value for money.
We’re not the only ones with a high opinion of Utopia. Other publications have been impressed with the quality of their products, whilst the retailer has also won awards from industry groups as an independent UK retailer. At a time when the UK economy may just be coming back to its feet, it’s reassuring to see a small independent retailer feeling confident enough take risks and push their horizons beyond these shores.
